February Cellar Notes

Gday Tigers! What’s going on? So here’s the latest and greatest instalment for the newsletter letting all you peeps out there know whats the down low in Pillitteri-ville. Gee is seems forever and a day since we last had a chinwag, to be honest I can’t even remember the last newsletter I wrote. Something tells me it’s sometime round the turn of the century. So let’s keep this short and sweet, cause I’ve got the Marketing Department toe-cutters chasing me like in Mad Max (only my Spidey sense tells me they’re actually madder than Max, and we all know how mad he was!).

So everything is in! Hooray and 3 cheers for my Production Crew. Well done lads. Finally finished pressing our table wines way (and I do mean way) after we finished taking in our Icewine. Yep still pulling that old stunt of leaving the fruit to hang out on the vines til someone gives in, sort of like that standoff they did in Footloose, without all the dancing.

Speaking of Icewines, they’re all going great guns. Got some funky new flavours in too. Just wait til they’re out and about!

Not much else going on. To be honest the big event on the horizon isn’t actually the Event Horizon like they would have you believe in that lame movie, but actually my return to my penal colony which will hopefully be happening sometime in the next few weeks. That’s right boys and girls, the next newsletter (if they are mad as cut snakes enough to ask me to do another one) will be typed and tested from Ye Olde Melbourne Town…home of real footy (not that pamby stuff which I was forced to endure last weekend!

Well that’s about it, can’t remember anything else which has happened since last newsletter but if you think I’ve forgotten something don’t be shy, drop us an email upping me for the rent! One thing before I blaze faster than Marty McFly in a DeLorean DMC-12, the soon to be released wines which will be desperately needing your McLovin include the 2009 Gewürztraminer Riesling, 2007 Riesling and 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (remember that bad boy?) along with some new Icewine releases. Swing by like Tarzan for a tasting! Ok, time to blaze, it’s almost beer o-clock.

Too easy, marc
