Pillitteri Estates Winery Contest
Win a Pillitteri Wine, Dine and Have a Good Time in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Section #1
1. Contest starts at 12:01 pm ET on December 5th 2010 and continues until 3:00 pm on January 26th , 2011 the Contest Closing Date. Entries must be received before the above closing date. Any entries received after the closing date will not be eligible for the contest. No purchase necessary.  Only one (1) entry per person.
(a) How to play; go to www.pillitteri.com/contest complete the entry ballot online in full and submit it as instructed by the Contest Closing Date.

(b) Winner selections will be made by a representative of Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat, from all entries received and will be made at approximately noon on  February 9th , 2011 at 1696 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone or email, as set out on the entry form.
(c) If a chosen entrant cannot be reached within 5 days following the selection, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a Release of Liability as specified below, another entrant will be selected.
2. (a)  Participants are eligible to win one (1) of the following three (3) prizes:
Grand Prize: (approximate retail value of $5,000) actual value may vary depending upon the time of year of reservations.
• Three nights accommodation (for 6) at Brockamour Manor Bed and Breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake (including breakfast).
• A Private Wine Tour and Tasting of Award winning VQA Wines hosted by a family member of Pillitteri Estates Winery followed by a Winemaker’s Dinner at Stone Road Grille in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
• 6 passes to Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours and Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake and     Niagara Helicopters in Niagara Falls.
           
The Winner and five travel companions are solely responsible for ground transportation, taxes, transfers, travel insurance, spending money, tips, meals and other travel and charges not specifically mentioned as part of the prizing.  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, Shaw Festival, Niagara Helicopters Ltd., prize suppliers and the provincial liquor control board are not responsible in the event that the winner and/or travel companions are refused entry to designated prize events or participation for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prizing will be forfeited.  Winner and travel companions must travel together on the same itinerary, and the trip winner’s companions must be of the age of majority, and of legal drinking age. Trip reservations and bookings are subject to availability, must be finalized by December 31st, 2011 and must be confirmed one month prior to usage.   Blackout dates may apply.

Third Prize ( approximate retail value of $350)

  (b)  Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged.  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.

 3. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time; and will also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form, Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.
 
4. By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Shaw Festival, Niagara Helicopters and Whirlpool Jet Boat and/or their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation. 

 5. This contest is open to residents of Ontario who are over the age of majority and who are of legal drinking age in the province of Ontario.
Section #2
1.  (a) The winner will be required to sign a document in a form acceptable to the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (“LCBO”) releasing the LCBO, its directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability of any kind in connection with the contest, or occurring as a result of the prizes being awarded;
(b) To be eligible to win, the entrant must not be an employee or a member of the immediate family of, or domiciled with an employee of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (“LCBO”), an employee of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”) or any licensees authorized by the AGCO, or of the independent contest organization.
(c) The LCBO and AGCO are not connected to this contest in any manner whatsoever and not liable in any way for any matter related to this contest.
(d) The prizes must be accepted on an “as is” basis and that there is no substitution of prizes.
(e) The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
(f) By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and decisions of the independent contest organization which are final.

2. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. For the name of the winner, visit r www.pillitteri.com/contest  after the Contest Closing Date.

3. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.  All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Shaw Festival, Niagara Helicopters and Whirlpool Jet Boat.  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat  take no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest.  All entries become the property of  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat and will not be returned.
4. Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat are collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest.  Entrants not wishing to receive any other informational or marketing communications should so indicate on the entry form. 

5. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat , its/their advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releases”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize.  Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release.   Winner’s guests must also sign and return a Declaration and a Liability/Publicity Release prior to accepting the prize or within such other period as Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat may specify.  Trip winner’s guests cannot be changed after the Declaration and Release are received.  By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

6. This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the contest.  The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

7. (a)  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.  Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor, Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat reserve the right, in its/their sole discretion,  to cancel or suspend the whole of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such an attempt be made, Pillitteri Estates Winery, Brockamour Manor Stone Road Grille, Niagara Helicopters, Shaw Festival and Whirlpool Jet Boat, reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. 

(b)  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.  All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
