Chris Kringles Cocktail and Christmas Krackle

Chris Kringles Cocktail
 
Recipe:
 
Ingredients
Pillitteri Estates Special Select Late Harvest Chambourcin
Pillitteri Estates Due Sparkling Wine
 
Directions
1. Pour 1/2oz Chambourcin into champagne flute
2. Add 2oz Due Sparkling Wine or until bubbles reach top of glass
3. Garnish with a few raspberries and enjoy!
 
 
Christmas Krackle
 
Recipe:
 
Ingredients
1 pkg Saltine Crackers
1 pkg chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
 
Directions
1. Pre-heat oven to 300o F
2. In a sauce pan heat butter and sugar until sugar dissolves in butter and caramelizes
3. Line baking sheet with foil.  Spray foil with light coating of pam.  Cover pam with single layers of Saltine crackers
4. Pour caramelized sugar mix evenly over crackers.
5. Bake for 10 min or until sugar starts to bubble, remove from oven and allow to cool slightly (when sugar stopps bubbling and can be touched
6. Evenly pour package of chocolate chips over crackers and sugar.
7. Bake for an additional 10 min
8. Remove from oven and spread melted chocolate with knife evenly over top.
9. Place in freezer for 10 min
10. Break up into bite size pieces and enjoy!
