The Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested in early November and was the last of the table wine grapes to be harvested from the estate. The patience paid off as the fruit yielded
reserve quality juices. A dry medium bodied red wine. Prominent on the nose are notes of cherry, prune and plum with hints of eucalyptus and subtle spice. The palate brings forward characters of fresh cherries and prickly pear with vanilla coming from the oak integration. Soft with medium tannins. Pair with stewed meats, tomato based dishes and medium aged cheeses.
